Explore the craft of songwriting, vocal training and vocal production under the guidance of singer, songwriter, and intermedia artist Rozina Pátkai!
Rozina Pátkai – one of the authentic representatives of bossa nova in Europe, who sings Latin jazz songs not only in Portuguese, Spanish, and English but also reinterprets international poems in their original languages, set to electronic music in her project called MINKA – will launch a creative MediaLab in Vienna in the fall of 2024.
Rozina recently graduated from the Intermedia Art program at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts in Budapest and is currently a Performative Art student at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna.
What is the MediaLab?
A unique interdisciplinary workshop series in Vienna, consisting of two independent sessions, each of which can be attended separately.
The goal of the MediaLab is to introduce participants to:
– Various songwriting and lyric writing techniques,
– The basics of vocal training and the world of musical effects.
What can you expect if you participate?
– The joy of collective thinking and interactive creation,
– Learning new methods with music, lyrics and training your voice
– And a creative exchange of ideas.

Participation fees:
– Booking one workshop (120 minutes): EUR 48 per person (price includes 20% VAT)
– Booking two workshops (2 x 120 minutes): EUR 89 per person (price includes 20% VAT)
Workshops will take place with a maximum of 15 participants per session. The program is open to all age groups, from teenagers to adults. No prior instrumental or musical knowledge is required – everyone who wants to unleash their creative energy is welcome.
